Andy Sheldon is one of the best
guitarists I’ve ever heard. I think he’s absolutely fabulous He has
an amazing control of his guitar as well as his vocal range. I
really enjoyed the following songs Eighth Avenue, Fairy Tale, Good
luck, I Will Love You and She Don’t Care. His entire album consists
of a funky jazz acoustic feel. He has a few songs that consist of
Spanish and instrumental all are quite enjoyable.
And has a very John Mayer feel
in his music and a might also point out that Andy's just as
talented. And I personally enjoyed the horns in Andy’s music and the
drum work…just fantastic and full of originality and rhythm. Another
favorite song is “I Might Be Superman” with his high vocal range and
slow jam mix with beautiful violin or cello, I can’t tell, it’s
gorgeous none the less
The only thing that I noticed
about the album itself is that the paper jacket inside the CD is
lacking information; it has basic credits and track information with
no lyrics and no real production information. I was kind of
disappointed I want to read about Andy’s inspiration and the poems
he made into songs. I understand if it’s a money thing because most
artists that start out do not have a lot of money for extras
If you are looking for a
vibrant, clean, refreshing, funky, jazzy album, Andy Shelton -Up On
Market Street, is the album for you, featuring twelve full length
tracks all written by Andy. It’s one of my favorite albums and I
would suggest any one who is into music take a listen to it, you’ll
enjoy it as much as I did.
